Use Your Time Wisely

The need for successful fundraising for every nonprofit has never been greater, which has made the competitive field of foundation and government grants even more competitive. Before diving headfirst into a complicated application process, realistically evaluate your chances of success. For health and social service agencies, there might actually be more money available because of Covid-19 special funds, but there will likely be even greater competition for them. And if you are raising money for the arts, remember that this area is frequently the first to be cut, especially by government agencies. Don't expect your fundraising priorities to be the same, and look before you leap.
